Given the current circumstances you may find yourself having to spend time alone.
For many, this can be extremely difficult given our lives are filled with constant distraction. If we can make time to quiet the mind, be still and reconnect to self, the benefits are truly remarkable.

Have you been with yourself lately?

Find a quiet space

Set a timer for five minutes

Sit in a comfortable position

Open your eyes, drop your gaze and focus on one spot

Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth

Feel how the breathing pattern affects your body and your thoughts

Imagine your mind filling up with the sky

Every time a thought comes in, don’t attach to it, let your thoughts come and go and come back to your breath. Continue to focus on your breathing.

Repeat daily 

Slowly increase your meditation time by five minutes.
Meditation can be challenging at first, give yourself time, be patient and don’t give up.
